Suppose that you're in a fairly new relationship. You know you're attracted and you care about this person. After the intial phase of meet/like/attracted is over you move into a differenct phase. It's that "now that I know you a little better do I really like what I see?" phase. That is a turning point.
It isn't the end of the relationship. It isn't the beginning either. A turning point brings a whole new crop of questions that don't all have answers right away. Many "potential" relationships go down the tubes in a turning point. There are no guarantees. You have to see it through to find out where it takes you. It can be a time of tremendous opportunity or you can repeat old patterns and decide to jump ship. A turning point is often a change of direction. A time you can use to look for...
Are you feeling adventurous? Excited? Are you open to what's developing and interested to find out where we're going? Or do you worry that relationships always go bad?
It's worth pointing out that when relationships end during a turning point there's generally a lot of help from fear. The 5th Night of the Galactic underworld is no different.
The ancient Mayan calendar tracks an evolutionary plan of Creation that stretches back before writing, religion, science, humanity or even the planet existed. In each of 9 levels of Creation encoded in the Mayan calendar there are 13 steps of growth... 7 DAYS and 6 NIGHTS.
The 5th Day / 5th Night stage is a crucial turning-point that advances the plan for each particular underworld. We entered the 5th Night of the Galactic level, November 19, 2007.
You may be hearing the Mayan calendar mentioned a lot more often these days and it's being used to fuel fear about the future.
Just a few things you're (still) hearing in the news...
How do you feel when your 10 year-old and 11 year-old are supposed to be home at 3:00 pm and two hours later they're still not home and you haven't heard from them?
You call the school, their friends and your friends. No one has seen or heard from them. How do you feel?
About the time you've run out of ideas and are going to call the police, they both come through door, laughing, poking at one another and covered in mud.
You're thrilled beyond words to see them and angry ready to fire the questions. After a big hug and a kiss, "Where have you been? Why didn't you call? What were you thinking?" Your kids look confused and a little scared. They just forgot about time completely and know that answer probably isn't going to be good enough.
You imagined the worst for two frantic hours. You kept telling yourself it was ok but the feelings of emergency rise up and grab you. Did you experience what you imagined? The answer is yes, yes and yes again.
What you imagined turned out to be un-true and you still went through the worry and anxiety and stress. The human mind is a powerful thing and the most interesting part is...
This is a very strange idea at first-look but ask yourself this; have you ever been in a truly life-threatening situation? In that moment were you afraid? Or did you do what needed to be done? You act "in the moment" because that's what we do. We don't think - we act. Perhaps later, when you think about what happened you may break into tears but in the moment you act.
The stress of imagined future events is very damaging to the human structure. The developing frame of consciousness in the 5th Night is what lightens your step and...
When you hear about crisis in the world or future catastrophic events with no way to put the information into perspective, it sits in the back (or front) of your mind and creates problems - problems that are destructive to your life. Everything in your world is affected by worry, stress, anxiety and fear. Every level of your life.
We're not saying to bury your head in the sand or pretend or ignore anything. It's about a more flexible perspective that works in harmony with the energetic flow of a 5th Night cycle.... which is a turning point... and where we are right now.

First let me say that the workshop yesterday was a feast for the mind and heart. There was so much new information and your exhortations for us to "re-assess what we know we know" was right on the money. I've spent some time today doing further research ...the theories are challenging and satisfying to read and they shake the current paradigm to the core.
I'm so excited about being able to share your hard work with my students - especially the aspect of the human source code. We have so few tools with which to help students develop their own values. Religion is off the table - no doubt a good thing ultimately, as it has been responsible for so much carnage and persecution of heresy - but its banishment leave us without much of the language we need to discuss our responsibilities to ourselves, each other, and the universe. Your human source code material provides a wonderful new paradigm within which to consider these things. There is so much more to speak of, but there will be time for that journey.
