Long long ago... before Mayan Calendar Code.com launched, Jag and Andi hosted a radio show heard in over 70 countries. In those days (which wasn't really all that long ago :) Andrea McMillan-Steward was shortened to Andi Mac and James Jag Steward shortened to "Jag". In the world of radio it's common to truncate longer names to a nickname. It's easier to remember and more personal for the audience.

Many listeners came along when Mayan Calendar Code.com began. For that reason the DJ monikers stayed put. We tried going back to full names but when people thought they were getting email from someone they didn't know - it was easy to see the light on that one. 
In a time when many people feel like life is moving faster and attention spans are shorter we found it best to keep it simple. For those who click through to this page well... you get the back story. For those who don't it doesn't matter.
Why The Mayan Calendar Is NOT Our Focus
Okay. Obviously this web site is called *Mayan Calendar Code*. Around here the Mayan calendar does have great value. In fact it can be extremely valuable in your life.
The problem is... you'll never see that value or get to take advantage of it until you're able to step away from common stories about it ...to see it for what it really is. And to see what it's good for in a modern world.
Emphasis On the Code
Reacting to our experiences in life is what happens when decisions are based on what we think happened to us yesterday and/or what we think may happen to us tomorrow. We can respond to our experiences when choices are based on what is happening to us right here, right now. There is no other way.
An internal "code" directly affects how the world is perceived more than anyone would believe possible... until you begins to examine and see this inner "code" for yourself.
We must un-learn the well-worn grooves of the code that shapes our behaviors and belief systems and leads us into reaction. This un-learning process is not difficult. It can be acheived step-by-simple-step when you have teaching ideas to work with.
As a private investigator in LIFE I've come to see (through experience) that freedom is not the dream of a better world in the future. It is instead always here and now. It exists only in the moment to moment. That is that gift that's personally experienced when what's really going on ...is valued.
I am not free tomorrow or yesterday. I am free now right here. I'm not saying that to impress you. I'm saying it because you're capable of extraordinary things because you are designed to evolve.
And Where Does the Mayan Calendar Really Fit In?
The Mayan calendar is - in the minds of most people - buried under so much concept that it's practically useless. Yes, there's a wealth of tradition and ritual surrounding it - all things that have never proven useful for building a life that is full, rich, whole and integrated. A life where you can see *what is* as it is!
What is there that you can sink your teeth into and actually use? What good is the calendar to you? Is it only good for learning about the Tones and Glyphs? Or for interpreting what the days mean? Useless. The kinds of questions you'll get to investigate here at Mayan Calendar Code - if you're up for the adventure of a lifetime - go much deeper than that. We're all about THE CODE in the calendar and in humanity. That's the purpose here. That's the aim.
Teaching ideas that make room for transformative change to occur in your life are what matter. Not the container they can come in. That means there are no goo-roos here. Being in relationship as a "couple" can be interpreted to mean "the same". In this case that's not how it works. Andi and Jag come from two different playing fields. Like a stone sharpens a blade - it seems we take turns being the stone for one another. And the sparks propel the partnership in wonderful ways.
