One thing has been constantly bugging me since I found your site- whats the deal with this end date? Your site and other sources that are based upon Dr. Calleman's book tell us its the 27(?) October 2011 when for years I've been told that not only the Mayan Calendar but also the i ching (through Terence McKenna's Timewave Zero program) say that it ends at 11:11 on 21st December 2012? Thats almost a year difference- how has this happened and why do you believe one is right?
The other niggling thing is y2k is still fresh in peoples mind. Lots of people prophesised major catastrophies for the new millenium, none of them happened and so many people will shrug off the end of the Mayan Calendar as another y2k- those who don't research it at least. I've just posted Ian's DVD to my parents- I'm wondering what they'll make of it.
What do you think happens on this end date? We enter a black hole? I'm still not clear on this really. I know its about us rising into a higher dimension and lots of people won't make it. Although I've been very interested in spiritual/ supernatural/ 'occult' phenomenon for most of my life I don't think that I'm especially spritually gifted or advanced and so at the moment I have doubts as to whether I will be able to survive the shift. I've probably got A LOT of work to do! My parents and famnily (and many people I know) are pretty materialistic so unless they undergo some major changes to the way they think they've probably got even less chance.
Sorry to go all doom and gloom on you Andi. I'm quite lost and confused and have been for a number of years. I want us to be free to love and create but I can't do that where I live right now- I'm imprisoned by modern society. I realise things are changing but I'm still without a real plan.

Hi Dan,
First of all thank you for sending your email, your questions and sharing what's going on for you with me. You're a treasure.
As to the end date Dan, it's not as complicated as it first appears if you put a couple of things into perspective. First, the 2012 end-date is correct from an archaeological standpoint. The original calculations are not "technically" wrong. They're right. They are however, not in line with the frequency patterns found in the Tzolkin since Calleman's work came alone. So, while the 2012 end-date is technically correct it lacks the full and complete picture that aligns with the core spiritual nature of the calendar. The Tzolkin being the core of the whole Mayan Calendar, must be considered and outweighs the technically correct date.
Because the Mayan Calendar appears to be a mathematically precise instrument of time (and indeed it is) it would make sense to think a technically correct date is the right one. However, the Mayan Calendar is so beyond being 'just' a calendar that the spiritual questions are unavoidable and not only must be considered, they take precendence.
The deeper meaning behind why a Tzolkin round would need to be completed for the calendar to end according to the timeline found on the Coba Stone, is not something I could explain quickly. Suffice to say at this time that the date 4 Ahau, is in the middle of a Tzolkin round and does not fit into the Creation pattern found in the Mayan Calendar which, by the way, matches the same Creation story mytholigized in every culture on this planet. There is something to it...it would seem.
The 2012 end-date is 420 days late. The 2011 end-date is the end of a full 5,125 year cycle. The only Ahau date close enough to seriously consider, is 13 Ahau or October 28, 2011. That would bring the cycle to full completion. Also, consider that if the end-date is off, the ability to tune-in to the frequencies of the Timeline of the evolution of consciousness will also be off. That is Calleman's assertion and personally it settles well in me.
Yes, the Y2K thing is still fresh in people's minds along with a 100 other crisis cries about everything under the sun. Creation has a way of getting people's attention, there really isn't a need for you or I to be concerned about it. That's not our job anyway. Many people will shrug off the Mayan Calendar because that's what people do. However, I notice that you're not. That tells me something right there. I notice a lot of people aren't because everyone truly wants to know who, what and where they are, deep down. Even those who shrug it off will have an opportunity to go deeper. The opportunities are always there - we're down to that point where the opportunities simply won't take so long in between.
What do I think will happen exactly? I'm learning to simply take no thought of it. It is not my concern to do Creation's job of bringing this to conclusion. Creation already has a plan and its been rolling along quite well for a very long time now. Where I CAN play a part is to pay attention to what's happening in my own thoughts. This is where I can change the world. This is the only place any of us can truly participate and we're getting a major invitation to do so.
Yes, some people will expire in this process. But I ask Dan, is that not happening now? Are people dying now? Yes...and worse is people are suffering every single day in their minds because they feel so hopeless and lost. What's worse?
There is no doubt for me that where we're heading is not to a 'thing' or to a 'place' in the physical sense of these things - although that will occur certainly, that is not the point. The point is, we will be fully conscious of who we are, where we are and what's really going, in contrast to where we've been and many are now, which is in a walking dream that we're separated from one another, from Creation and from ourselves. Try to imagine that all people everywhere are in peace within! Now think about what that would look like? Now you tell me what you see. That's an image of what I have no doubt is in store for us 2011/2012.

Dan don't underestimate you or the people around you. You have every chance every minute of every day. The fact is you don't need to be spiritually gifted because humans don't need to be spiritually gifted - we're just plain spiritual beings. That's all. We're spiritual beings in a physical form. We can't not be! We don't know how to breath, or walk or keep our heart beating 24/7 for years and years without stopping! But that X-factor in us does! We're spiritual from the top of our heads to the tips of our toes - as you are. Through and through. Don't concern yourself with being spirtual - just pay attention and "be" what you already are.
The next time you hear someone say they are spiritually "gifted", consider to yourself for a moment that this ideal is just their "religion" talking. Religion comes in many forms. For some people their religion is making a lot of money. For others it's having a Phd. For others it's having a lot of things. For others it's saying they are spiritually gifted. All of it is illusion. Just stories people tell themselves because they don't yet know there's more than the dream.
Dan, you have Creation rooting for you every moment, because Creation is providing everything you need to learn more about exactly who you are. Now, the question is, are you ready to find out the truth about you? The truth that lives inside of you? That is the real question. I wonder what your answer will be?
